Captain Rosa had sailed every sea on the painted map, but the X that mattered most was the tiny one she'd drawn herself — on the island where the tide pools shimmered like spilled treasure. She was seven years old and extremely serious about her expeditions. Today her crew was Alex, who was equally serious and also had a very good eye for interesting shells. They set out from the sand dunes in the morning with a map, a compass, and two excellent hats. The tide pools were full of wonders. There was a starfish with arms going every direction at once, a crab the colour of tangerine, and a sea anemone that waved its fingers in a way that seemed almost like a greeting. "Look," Alex said quietly, pointing. Tucked into a crevice, sparkling with water, was a small glass bottle. Inside it was a folded piece of paper. Rosa opened it with great ceremony. It read: The greatest treasure is already in your pocket. She checked her pocket. There was a smooth black stone she had found that morning. "What do you think it means?" Alex asked.
Rosa looked at the stone. She had picked it up because it felt nice in her hand. Because when she was nervous, she could rub her thumb across it and feel better. Because it was exactly the right size and the right weight.
"I think," she said slowly, "it means the things that make you feel safe are the treasure."
Alex nodded. That made sense.
They sat at the edge of the tide pool as the sun went down. The ocean came in softly, steady and slow and full of enormous, comfortable patience.
The two friends leaned together as the stars came out, the treasure safe in both their pockets.

How does DreamWeave work?
You fill out a short form about your child — their name, age, and interests. Each evening, our AI writes them a completely new story, sends it to your email, and saves it in your private library. No app to open, no ads, no screen time — just a story waiting when you need it.
What age range is DreamWeave designed for?
Ages 3 to 12. The stories automatically adapt to your child's age bucket — shorter, simpler sentences for toddlers; richer language and deeper plots for tweens. You can update their age anytime as they grow.
Can my child request stories about Pirates specifically?
Yes — every night. When you set up your child's profile, Pirates becomes one of their core interests. From that point on, every story is woven around that theme (plus their name, personality, and anything else you tell us). You can also swap interests anytime from your account.
