The rocket was small — just big enough for one child and a very brave stuffed rabbit — but it went very, very fast. Alex had built it from cardboard boxes, silver tape, and a great deal of determination. And somehow, on the night the stars seemed closest, it lifted off from the backyard and sailed up through the clouds and into the wide, velvet darkness of space. Jupiter was first. It was enormous, striped in orange and cream, with a swirling storm the size of a planet all its own. Alex pressed a nose to the rocket window and watched the clouds spin slowly, slowly, slowly. "That storm has been going for four hundred years," Alex told the stuffed rabbit. The rabbit looked appropriately impressed. Next came Saturn, wearing its magnificent rings like a hat it was very proud of. Alex waved. Saturn did not wave back, but one of its moons winked, which was good enough. On and on the little rocket drifted, past stars that were really suns for other worlds, past clouds of pink and gold gas that were the birthplaces of new stars.
Alex did not know that then, but somehow it felt true — that this glowing, enormous universe was always in the middle of being born.
The radio crackled. "Alex? Supper is ready."
The voice belonged to home. To warm light in a kitchen window. To the smell of something good.
Alex turned the rocket gently around and aimed for the tiny blue marble in the distance — Earth, patient and glowing, waiting.
On the way back, Alex counted fourteen new stars and fell asleep before reaching the moon, the rocket sailing steady and quiet through the dark.
The universe tucked them in.

How does DreamWeave work?
You fill out a short form about your child — their name, age, and interests. Each evening, our AI writes them a completely new story, sends it to your email, and saves it in your private library. No app to open, no ads, no screen time — just a story waiting when you need it.
What age range is DreamWeave designed for?
Ages 3 to 12. The stories automatically adapt to your child's age bucket — shorter, simpler sentences for toddlers; richer language and deeper plots for tweens. You can update their age anytime as they grow.
Can my child request stories about Space specifically?
Yes — every night. When you set up your child's profile, Space becomes one of their core interests. From that point on, every story is woven around that theme (plus their name, personality, and anything else you tell us). You can also swap interests anytime from your account.
