The Dragon Who Collected Stars

High in the Whispering Mountains, where the clouds drifted like sleepy cotton balls, there lived a small dragon named Ember. Ember had shimmery golden scales and wings the colour of autumn leaves, but there was one thing that made Ember different from every other dragon — instead of breathing fire, Ember breathed tiny, glowing stars. Every night, when the sun dipped behind the mountains and the sky turned the colour of blueberries, Ember would fly up, up, up to the very top of the clouds. With a gentle breath, out came a stream of twinkling stars that floated softly upward and nestled into the sky. One evening, Alex climbed the path to the mountain to watch. Alex had always wanted to meet a dragon, and Ember had always wanted to meet a child. They sat side by side on a warm, smooth rock as Ember breathed stars into the darkness above them. "Where do the stars go when morning comes?" Alex asked. Ember smiled, and a tiny star puffed out with the breath. "They sleep," Ember said, "just like you do. They rest all day tucked inside the clouds, and when night comes, they wake up and shine." Alex looked …

They rest all day tucked inside the clouds, and when night comes, they wake up and shine."

Alex looked up at the hundreds of glowing lights above. "Did you put all of those there?"

"Every single one," Ember said proudly.

Together they counted eleven new stars before Alex's eyes began to grow heavy. The mountain air was cool and sweet, and Ember's scales were warm as a hearthstone. Alex leaned gently against the dragon's side.

Ember breathed one last star — the biggest, brightest one — and placed it directly above where Alex sat.

"That one is yours," Ember whispered. "Every night when you look up, it will be there."

Alex smiled sleepily. The star shimmered as if it heard, sending down a soft silver light that settled like a blanket over both of them.

And there on the mountaintop, the dragon and the child drifted off together, while the sky filled gently with stars.

Questions parents ask

How does DreamWeave work?

You fill out a short form about your child — their name, age, and interests. Each evening, our AI writes them a completely new story, sends it to your email, and saves it in your private library. No app to open, no ads, no screen time — just a story waiting when you need it.

What age range is DreamWeave designed for?

Ages 3 to 12. The stories automatically adapt to your child's age bucket — shorter, simpler sentences for toddlers; richer language and deeper plots for tweens. You can update their age anytime as they grow.

Can my child request stories about Dragons specifically?

Yes — every night. When you set up your child's profile, Dragons becomes one of their core interests. From that point on, every story is woven around that theme (plus their name, personality, and anything else you tell us). You can also swap interests anytime from your account.
